Looking at the most recent Woodcraft catalog gave me an idea. It seems like it would be easy enough to make one of these out of some scrap wood and some drum sander sleeves. Just chuck up the wood, turn it to the right diameter, and glue a sleeve onto it.

Might be worth checking into, especially if you have something that you need to sand that has a circular cut out or something. I made these holly leave shaped candle holders last christmas that this would have been perfect for.
