Happy Friday! I found a web page (rather timely find actually) that is pretty cool. I recently purchased an electric chainsaw for the express purpose of cutting logs up for bowl blanks and other turning items. Bill Grumbine put this page up on how he cuts logs into bowl blanks. It is a detailed step by step guide, with tips and photographs. A well done page, and give me a good head start on cutting up those three applewood logs my mother brought over last time.
