My name is Brander Roullett, but every one just calls me Badger. I grew up in a community of artisans, and free spirits, but I took a different path in life, into that of computers. Later in life, I got married, bought a house (with a two car garage) and started to build a shop where I could work on things. That Christmas, my father in law, loaned (long term) me his fathers 1950's Shopsmith that had been sitting for 20 years. I cleaned it up, and got it running. I've mostly used it as a lathe, and that is where my current passion lies.
Some of my first projects were little christmas trees, and Harry Potter wands for my costumer friends. It has turned into a passion for pre-16th century wood turning, and bowl turning. We'll just see where it goes, shall we?|||111112473497706974|||A blog is born...3/19/2005 7:32 AM|||Caitriona|||Good idea.
As I drove past the Tacoma Dome yesterday, I noticed there's going to be a wood working show.
